We are seeking an experienced Drilling Specialist to join our team in Midland, Texas. This is a full-time contract position with a duration of 07-04-2025 to 07-04-2026 (with possibility of extension).

Role Overview

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and control measures for drilling and completion activities.
• Identify potential quality risks and conduct risk assessments to develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform inspections and tests on drilling equipment, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to foster a culture of quality and provide training on quality standards and procedures.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend enhancements to processes and procedures for continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of sound quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with industry standards and specifications for drilling and completion services.
• Experience in oilfield drilling engineering and operations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of material selection/engineering, failure analysis, root cause analysis, nonconformance reporting, and continuous improvement systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is desired.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling and completions or related fields, with at least 2 years in a position requiring minimal daily supervision.
• General background of 5 years in quality assurance/quality control programs related to goods and services used in drilling and completion operations.
