This position reports to
Marketing & Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Working closely with China ELSB and ELSP marketing and sales organization, specifically national sales, product marketing, channel management and segment & channel support team to deliver the business results. 1. Marketing strategy Creating, planning, and implementing the marketing strategies for the assigned area in accordance with the business area/division marketing and sales strategy and budget. Defining the marketing targets for the assigned area and ensuring their achievement; and anticipating changes in the market direction proactively and facilitating timely and appropriate remedial action. 2. Market Research and intelligence Ensures the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and implementing coordinated marketing analyses and activities. To make competitor analyses ranging from full profit and loss account (P&L) and main financial data to company profile and net sales analysis. To make the market and business strategy and identify the growth opportunities based on both internal and external market analysis 3. Segment marketing programs Identifying existing and new strategic segments and business opportunities through market analysis, defining strategy/business plans for each opportunity, and coordinating with the relevant teams for the assigned area. 4. Channel marketing programs Collaborating, defining and implementing the effective marketing programs to ensure the channel partnership development. 5. Product marketing programs Collaborating, defining the implementing the effective marketing programs to secure the profitable growth by new product launch and key product promotion. 4. Event and Seminar Adapting and developing promotional activities using events, fairs, online communication campaigns, print media, and other communications vehicles to promote products, systems, and services across the lifecycle. Stimulating lead generation through advertising, sponsorship, and other promotional activities. Ensuring sound communication across multiple and appropriate trade media in line with the ABB communications framework to extend the company's visibility. 5. Budget management Working with controlling team to ensure the annual and quarterly budget is properly managed. 6. People leadership and development Ensures (with HR Manager's support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Automation preferred)
- More than 15 years Marketing experience in related industries. Multi-national companies experience is preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capability as critical competency
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
- Market and Customer orientation
- Fluent English mandatory
