Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the introduction, optimization, and automation of manufacturing processes and equipment. You will work on standardizing production technologies across global manufacturing sites and drive continuous improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Your expertise will help develop scalable and configurable solutions while ensuring seamless integration with MES/ERP systems. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Machine Automation divison in Eggelsberg (Österreich). You will be mainly accountable for: • Standardizing manufacturing technologies (e.g., screwing, gluing, laser marking, clipping) used across global production sites. • Optimizing and further developing manufacturing technologies to increase productivity, including KPI monitoring. • Developing scalable and configurable solutions, including interfaces to MES/ERP systems. • Building prototypes and advancing them into standardized solutions. • Implementing, documenting, and providing training on manufacturing standards in production areas. • Supporting development and industrialization projects as a manufacturing technology expert, focusing on Design for Automation (DfA) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM). • Conducting and contributing to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) in development projects. • Scouting, evaluating, and validating new manufacturing technologies. Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and industrial production systems, with experience in the industrial and production engineering sector.
- You have several years of experience in process optimization, production technology, or industrial automation
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of MES/ERP systems, manufacturing analytics, and production planning tools.
- You are passionate about structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies, with a strong hands-on mentality.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field.
- You are at ease communicating in English and German (written and spoken).
