Job Description Summary

As a member of the GE Aerospace Digital Technology organization aligned to the Technology & Operations High Performance Computing team, you will focus on comprehensive product leadership and will work to develop our technical product portfolio in partnership with our global stakeholders and customers. You will build and sustain customer relationships, the technical requirements pipeline as well as the product delivery and internal marketing/communications strategy for a portfolio of highly technical and complex digital products which help to enable the Future of Flight through advanced computing, simulation and visualization capabilities as well as structured data analysis. You will operate primarily at the intersection between the Engineering teams and leaders who rely on High Performance Computing in their daily work in service of their priorities and the team that builds, operates and supports the services in the related portfolio. Your priority will be seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a diverse set of stakeholders. You will partner with customers on the formation and execution of weekly and monthly operating cadences aligned to established metrics as well as the feedback loop focused on quality, delivery, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement opportunities. This role will require significant product and stakeholder management expertise, technical depth and ability to translate requirements to actionable specifications and delivery commitments in partnership with your global team members and colleagues.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Partner strategically with a broad global stakeholder community to understand business priorities, needs, challenges and outcomes aligned to the HPC product portfolio.
  • Embrace change and promote the identification of continuous improvement opportunities across the global team. Take action to build consensus and pursue opportunities aligned to Flight Deck and the SQDC framework.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features, capabilities, services and tools aligned to global stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent business acumen inclusive of the latest industry trends and with a deep technical understanding of the products in your portfolio.
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews focused on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement opportunities and identification of new business/product usecases.
  • Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity through collaborative problem solving to outcomes that align with customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain internal product marketing materials, communications, technical specifications and related content to support broad understanding and awareness of products under your purview.
  • Develop and maintain the HPC service catalog and digital web presence as a single point of reference for the service to the global stakeholder community.
  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders in the development of the annual financial operating plan for the product portfolio. Actively engage with Finance partners throughout the year to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize your work in line with a strong understanding and validation of stakeholder and customer needs in order to deliver maximum business impact.
  • Demonstrate superior communication, persuasion, debate, and influencing skills that are applied professionally to ensure alignment between customer, product manager, service owner, architects and Engineering teams across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Engage frequently with product development and operational teams to facilitate discussion, planning, prioritization, testing/validation and to provide clarity, refinement and acceptance of final deliverables. Contributes to design activities, decisions and debate to drive best possible outcomes for the team and stakeholders.
  • Partner with operational experts to design, build, implement and maintain a robust reporting capability for the service to provide transparency into established KPIs, operating metrics and service quality indicators.


Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional IT functional experience with at least 5 years of experience leading, managing and delivering highly complex technical IT products for enterprise level technical computing infrastructure and/or application products.
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY.


The base pay range for this position is 110,700.00 - 147,600.00 - 184,600.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. You are also equity eligible.
