TEEP GGIP is an affiliate operating Ratawi field producing ~60kboe/d, and steering and implementing $10 billion investment in 4-in-1 multi-energy and multi-branch Growth Gas Integrated Project (GGIP) in Basra region of Iraq. GGIP consists of: Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) - to treat 5Mbwpd of seawater for water injection to oil fields, Associated Gas Upstream Project (AGUP) and Gas Mid-stream Project (GMP) - to produce 210kbopd at plateau and to supply gas to 1.5GW of power generation capacity, growing to 3GW in 2 nd phase, Solar Power Plant (APP) - to supply 1GW solar electricity. The sub projects are run in parallel and are at various stages of advancement.

HSE :
- Ensure that all benefits programs comply with HSE regulations and standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and well-being among employees through benefits programs.
- Collaborate with the HSE department to integrate health and safety considerations into benefits planning and administration.
- Implement measures to protect personal data, ensuring that employee information is handled securely and in accordance with data privacy regulations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all accessed information, ensuring sensitive employee data is handled with discretion and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Market Analysis and Program Design:
- Conduct thorough research on current employee benefits practices in Iraq, focusing on sectors relevant to the company.
- Identify mandatory benefits according to Iraqi legislation, such as health insurance and retirement contributions.
- Analyze competitors' offerings to determine attractive benefits in the Iraqi labor market.
- Develop a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, and a competitive retirement plan.
- Using benchmarks and adhering to TotalEnergies standards, participate in creating specifications and documents for the Contract & Procurement department to launch tenders.
- Negotiate with providers to secure the best terms and establish strong partnerships.
Implementation and Administration:
- Create detailed procedures for the administration of employee benefits.
- Implement effective benefits management systems.
- Train HR staff on the administration of new programs.
- Manage employee enrollments in various benefit programs.
- Maintain accurate records of all employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements.
Employee Communication and Support:
- Develop a clear communication strategy to inform employees about new benefits.
- Organize information sessions and workshops to explain the benefits in detail.
- Create easily accessible guides and resources for employees.
- Respond promptly to all employee inquiries regarding benefits with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Compliance and Audits:
- Implement measures to protect sensitive benefits data, ensuring that employee information is handled securely and in accordance with data privacy regulations.
- Ensure all benefits programs comply with Iraqi labor laws and internal company regulations.
- Collaborate with tax experts to ensure compliance with reporting and payment obligations for social contributions.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits data and resolve discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to benefits administration.
Monitor and report on the impact of benefits programs on employee health and safety, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and standards
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field; additional certifications in benefits (e.g., Certified Benefits Professional - CBP) are advantageous.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in benefits administration, preferably in a large organization in the energy sector or a related industry.
- Deep knowledge of benefits administration principles, payroll processes, and relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to address benefits-related inquiries.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other languages is an asset.
- Highly organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Discreet, responsible, and team-oriented with an intercultural mindset
