Job Title: SAP Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SAP Specialist to lead the SAP implementation strategy for our clients Drilling & Wells operations.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing customized training modules, monitoring SAP performance, and driving innovative improvements in service quality and cost efficiency. This role is key to ensuring smooth, efficient operations and acting as the main SAP liaison within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP Strategy & Implementation:
  
• Develop and execute a comprehensive SAP implementation strategy tailored to Drilling & Wells.
  
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to align SAP functionalities with operational needs.
  

Training & Knowledge Sharing:

Create and deliver customized training modules on SAP systems, tools, and processes.

Serve as a mentor to the D&W team, ensuring high levels of SAP competence across the department.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Monitor SAP performance and generate detailed reports and dashboards.

Alert users to nonconformance or delays and recommend improvements.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Lead business analysis, user acceptance testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify and implement lean ways of working to enhance quality and cost efficiency.

Liaison & Compliance:

Act as the SAP focal point, interfacing with other business areas, system vendors, and internal teams such as Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse.

Ensure compliance with all internal company policies, NOC Code of Conduct, and applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Deep understanding of drilling processes and the impact of SAP functionalities on drilling operations.
  
• Extensive SAP experience with data cleaning, rollouts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, coordination, communication, and technical skills.
  
• Proven ability to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  

Educational & Professional Background:

Master's degree in a Technical or Finance discipline (or equivalent).

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas upstream sector, with at least 4 years of hands-on SAP experience.

International experience is preferred but not essential.

Demonstrated success in leading SAP implementations and providing effective training and support.
