This position reports to
Local Robotics Controller - UK
Your role and responsibilities
To provide project control / finance support to the operations of Robotics in Milton Keynes. Main responsibilities: • Working closely with the Contracts and Project Managers • Produce monthly business review packs • Optimizing project cash flow and revenues while keeping project balance sheets, income statements and monthly/quarterly forecasts accurate • Helping to identify opportunities and risks, and monitoring mitigation actions to ensure timely implementation • Review / prepare month end accounts with the Business Controller • Review and resolve overdue debt / disputes • Register of all project contracts • Ensure timely project billing • Work together with project managers to ensure accuracy of all project financial information • Organise and play a key role in monthly contract reviews • Effect continuous business process improvements including leading role in FTP program. • Robotics SAP super user • Ensure internal controls compliance and keep up to date with changes. • Maintaining audit trails and documentation for internal and external audits and reviews • Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts • Monthly Capex reviews and Quarterly Impairment reviews • Prepare weekly order / backlog stats • Ensure stock reconciliation to GIL • Support / Provide training to Customer service business when required

Qualifications for the role
- Qualified / Part Qualified from recognized Accounting body
- Sound understanding of technical accounting principles
- Experience in similar role is essential
- Sound understanding of the unique challenges of a projects business
- Strong facilitator and negotiator
- Good planning and organisation skills
- Strong teamworking skills
- Strong work ethic, high integrity and an open attitude
- Safety awareness
- Professional and well presented
- Strong IT skills - hands-on capability and knowledge of systems, including word, excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills
- A strong willingness to learn and develop business skills
