This position reports to
Controlling & Planning Team Lead
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, You will be a vital member of the finance team within the US M&S Organization of the Smart Power Division. Providing key support to the M&S Controller, with self-starter and proactive attitude, suggesting areas for improvement in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to understand and continuously improve reporting processes. Strong communication, collaboration skills are essential to perform successfully. The work model for the role is: #hybrid #hybrid-Li This role is contributing to the Controlling & Planning Team Leader in Poland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting the Reporting Team in their regular activities (preparing adjustments, automating reports, contact with IS BI team) • Maintaining orders reporting process in BI (Snowflake/Qlikview) • Supporting role in BI Reporting Projects (Snowflake/Qlikview) • Validating accuracy of financial data, business information and reports by performing reconciliations and reviews of exceptions • Identifying and implementing improvements in financial systems and processes • Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business

Qualifications for the role
- Previous experience within commercial finance a plus
- You have a deep understanding of SAP, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools like QlikView, PowerBI, and SQL with experience in querying big data
- You are passionate about collaboration, with a self-starter mindset and the ability to efficiently work with a wide number of stakeholders
- You possess strong communication skills; you are captivated by learning quickly and adapting to new challenges
- Highly adept in working with data and driving insights from complex financial data
- Degree in Finance, Economics or any other relevant
- You are at ease communicating in English
- You hold current VISA/work permit valid in Poland
