The commissioning team is part of the APAC Installation & Commissioning team which is spread across the APAC Regions. In Installation & Commissioning & Offshore Support APAC we pre-install, install and commission the region's WTG's for offshore projects. The commissioning teams are based within the Regional Offshore department. In APAC offshore Commissioning, we handle our offshore projects and participate in all commissioning-related tasks to ensure that all responsibilities are carried out with safety, quality, and punctuality.

The commissioning team is part of the APAC Installation & Commissioning team which is spread across the APAC Regions. In Installation & Commissioning & Offshore Support APAC we pre-install, install and commission the region's WTG's for offshore projects. The commissioning teams are based within the Regional Offshore department. In APAC offshore Commissioning, we handle our offshore projects and participate in all commissioning-related tasks to ensure that all responsibilities are carried out with safety, quality, and punctuality.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work practice by acting in compliance with Vestas HSE requirements
- Ensure own all PPE checks are done, and monthly check sheets are logged
- Responsible for carrying our NPU and Functional test on Pre-assembly site.
- Daily communication with Deputy Commissioning Manager
- Execute WTG completion and start up
- Troubleshoot, operate and maintain WTGs
- Identify, register and manage deviations
- Maintain turbines and equipment
- Knowledge sharing
- Provide feedback and evaluation
- Assist in onboarding new starters
Qualifications
- A technical diploma/degree - e.g. electrical or electro-mechanical
- Experience from the wind industry is beneficial - e.g. with commissioning and troubleshooting
- Great skills in English language - written and spoken.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
