JOB DESCRIPTION

NOV is hiring for a Warehouser to join our team in Willis, TX. The Warehouser is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Duties include unloading/loading delivery trucks, checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing and storing shipments, and pulling/packing items to fulfill work order and sales order requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for receiving items in daily and ensuring they are properly labeled with correct part number and stocked in correct bin location.
• Prepare shipments: read sales order, pull items, box/palletize, weigh, fill out customer pick list, attach copy of RF Smart generated CO Label to the shipment and forward original paperwork to Logistics.
• Responsible for notifying appropriate departments of any discrepancies/ problems with material.
• Secure the warehouse from loss by:
  
  ----Challenging unauthorized personnel upon entry as to their needs.
  
  ----Assuring that the warehouse is locked and secured when not attended.
  
  ----Report any theft, loss or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
  
  ----Other than warehouse personnel conduct transactions properly.
• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Must be willing to cross-train into other areas of the warehouse as required to meet schedule due date.
• Work extra hours daily and on weekends as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all assignments are complete.
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate i.e., no air conditioning in the plant.
• Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs.
• Must be able to work around chemicals assigned to the department and wear the proper PPE.
• Must have communication skills.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Must be willing to work in an on-the-job-training status for the first two or three weeks of employment.
• All other duties as assigned.
