Position: Senior Project Manager

Role Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning and environmental assessment phase of onshore wind and solar projects. This role involves working closely with the Project Director, external consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for onshore wind and solar projects.
• Procure and manage external consultants, including planning consultants, ecologists, and other technical specialists.
• Support communications and interactions with external stakeholders such as local communities, landowners, and planning authorities.
• Collaborate with the internal development team to identify potential risks and assess proposals for risk mitigation.
• Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables to the internal team, senior management, and investment team.
• Collect and share industry and project information with the team.
• Provide technical input into investment committee interactions throughout the investment cycle.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy or planning sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Planning, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of the Planning and Environmental Impact Assessments process for onshore wind projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
