Your role and responsibilities
Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for achieving revenue targets (with typical 1-6-month product delivery cycles) and ultimately growing ABB's market share for Low Voltage 880 series cabinet, module and multidrive AC and DC Drive solutions. This includes electric heating (thyristor controller) in the high power/performance product platform. The primary annual objective is to increase the spend existing customers, attract new customers and lead large Low Voltage opportunity pursuits to close that are aligned with the strategy of the local business. The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote This role is contributing to the Motion/Systems Drives business area in the Northeast region of the USA. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers. You will be mainly accountable for: - Sales Execution - Maintain and GROW ABB's System Drives division's sales to market within the defined geography (40% travel potential) - Manage and grow existing System Drives' OEMs, System Integrator and named accounts within the geography - Penetrate preidentified/targeted industries at the user level within the geography under guidance of Segment Management, get ABB specified, influence projects and react to opportunities until close - Develop MOSD LV sales activity with channel partners - Player mapping, account planning, trip and sales (monthly) reporting - Collaborate with DP channel management to develop local channel MOSD opportunities, contract negotiation, channel sales planning for industries - Collaborate and mentor with Industry Sales Team in order to advance segment penetration

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $183,300 annually and is bonus eligible.

Qualifications for the role
- BS or AA in Engineering preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of related industrial automation sales experience
- Highly preferred 5+ years of relevant Low Voltage Drives business experience and a solid understanding of ABB products and their applications - ACS/DCS/DCT880 series; Module, Cabinet and Multidrive offerings - or similar experience with comparable product offerings by the competition
- Goal/result-oriented mind-set with capability to identify new opportunities and translate these into executable action plans
- Structured and Process orientated (sales processes, tools, dashboard...)
- Must reside within the Northeast region of the USA.
