Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you have the opportunity to develop, support, maintain and control activities for the test infrastructure that is necessary to achieve required level of reliability, quality and capability for active products. The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Power Protection product group in Napier. Main stakeholders are Agile teams, Manufacturing Engineering, Integrated Production Unit and Service teams. As an integral member of our team, you will be contributing to new product developments to develop testers and testing new designs. You will be mainly be accountable for: • Acting as an authority for testing and verification activities of medium to highly complex systems. • Facilitates completion of testing activities efficiently, timely, cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and standards. • Manage and support Automated & Manual testers development/design/build/maintenance. • Support and maintain Software/Tester infrastructure. • Tester Problem/fault solving analysis and investigation. Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in working with National Instruments Eco System (LabVIEW/TestStand) and the Automation of production test, specifically for electronics.
- Ideally you have 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testers.
- Possess a knowledge of measurement hardware.
- You hold a deep and genuine interest in data acquisition and capture, information measurement and measurement quality, and can communicate relevant matters with others of a broad range of technical backgrounds.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
