This Position reports to:
Account Manager
The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The Measurement & Analytics Division's portfolio consists of analyzers measuring compositions of gases and liquids; instrumentation measuring process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions measuring parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; and advanced digital solutions for device management, device health check and predictive maintenance. The Measurement & Analytics Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the marine industry. The Division enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from sensing and smart measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing 'before' and 'after' values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
Qualifications
• You enjoy working managing customer accounts and sales strategy
• You have at least 3 years of experience in direct Sales, working as Account with Instrument & Analytical products/solutions in the main industries
• Possess an enhanced knowledge in using CRM and Sales Tools (use of SFDC would be a plus) the use of the main tools as support the Sales activities as Salesforce, etc
• You are passionate about a collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
• Degree in Engineering is a plus. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
