Honeywell's ACST team is seeking an Experienced Inventory Control Assistant for our Plymouth, MN location.

As an Experienced Inventory Control Assistant here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by ensuring accurate inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and supporting on-time production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Preparing part kits
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory control policies and procedures
  • Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory performance
  • Perform basic material handling functions

The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $45,700.00 - $57,100.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is overtime eligible.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 3 + years of experience in inventory control, material handling or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year using inventory management software and tools
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

WE VALUE
  • Experience with SAP ERP system
  • Associate's degree
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift operator certification
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
