At LCRA, we are looking for a motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our Power Generation team! In this role you will manage an assigned crew so that all scheduled work is completed safely, efficiently, with the highest degrees of quality, and as planned in a power plant environment. This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership in troubleshooting, effectively communicating with maintenance, operations, scheduling, planning, and engineering to resolve issues. You will be trusted to:
- Provide expertise in the completion of complex repairs, installation, and maintenance of equipment in assigned area.
- Accountable for crew member's safety performance, job performance, training needs, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Verify that equipment repairs are completed, and equipment is ready for service prior to release back to operations. Ensures that an accurate record of work is recorded for each work order completed.
- Work with scheduling functions to develop available employee-hour forecast for all scheduling periods to include tracking upcoming annual leave, sick leave, training, meetings, etc. so that all available employee hours can be scheduled.
- Work with planning functions and provides feedback on work packages to all for continuous improvement of planning processes and equipment reliability.
You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in power generation, engineering, business, science, math or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
You are a great fit with:
- Experience in maintaining coal fired power plant equipment.
- Experience in developing and tracking budgets.
- Experience in maintenance planning principles, including work package development and PM development.
- Experience with Maximo and Pasta.
