Senior Plant Manager
As a Senior Plant Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our manufacturing plant. You will develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety throughout the plant will be a key responsibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices. Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing corrective actions to address any deviations from targets will be crucial. Additionally, you will manage the plant budget and resources effectively to achieve financial goals.
You will report directly to our Sr. ISC Operation Director, and you'll work out of our Harsum, Germany location on a On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of our business by leading and managing a team to meet production targets and deliver on customer commitments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership and strategic decision-making skills will be essential in driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the plant operations to meet production targets and deliver on customer commitments.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the plant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from targets.
• Manage the plant budget and resources effectively to achieve financial goals.
YOU MUST HAVE
• German Language is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in plant management or a similar leadership role with 12-15years supply chain and manufacturing experience.
• Engagement with work council is mandatory.
• Inventory optimization and impacting Employees engagement (VOE)
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices in fabrication and machining.
• Experience of working with German legislation related to plant and people management.
• Proven record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
WE VALUE
• bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience with implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives. Lean or black belt certification preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
