The Project Engineering group in the Controls Systems Engine & Fluid Controls Engineering organization is looking for a talented engineer with a product development background.
This Project Engineer II position is responsible to lead small engineering teams to support concept to qualification phases of new product development process for mechanical valve and heat transfer products for aerospace applications, and work within a team environment to solve programmatic, technical, manufacturing, test and field issues. Supports preparation of proposals, estimates and quotations from a technical and/or business perspective.
Key Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Mechatronic)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in aerospace product development and design for mechanical products.
• Project Engineering experience, ability to build customer relationships, works with self-direction, successfully work in a and promote a team environment towards getting results.
• Knowledge in Program Management and Control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge in Program Management and Control.
• Knowledge in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA).
