Description

All Energy Solar is expanding! We're seeking a driven cold-caller with a proven track record of setting appointments in the roofing industry to join our dynamic team. As a Roofing & Service Lead Generation Specialist, you'll play a key role in our growth by connecting with potential clients, introducing them to our roofing, solar removal/reinstallation, and related services, and scheduling appointments for our sales team.

The ideal candidate is a focused, results-oriented, and persuasive communicator with strong research and computer skills. You'll be quick and professional on the phone, able to handle objections, and skilled at building rapport with potential clients. This position offers flexibility to work from home or our Saint Paul, MN office. Responsibilities & Essential Functions
  • Spearhead the generation of qualified roofing and service leads, with an emphasis on storm response outreach to all potential customers and their neighbors, through targeted outbound calling.
  • Professionally greet and expertly assist inbound leads, providing them with clear and compelling information about our services.
  • Build rapport with potential clients and guide conversations about our comprehensive roofing, solar removal/reinstallation, and other relevant services.
  • Become a product knowledge expert. Confidently articulate the benefits of our services and expertly navigate sales scripts.
  • Actively listen to client needs and assess their alignment with our business criteria.
  • Schedule appointments for in-depth consultations and property assessments.
  • Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and lead data within our CRM system.
  • Share valuable insights from customer feedback to enhance our marketing approaches and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve lead-generation targets and exceed sales goals.
  • Stay ahead of the curve. Keep up-to-date on All Energy Solar's latest offerings and industry developments to deliver accurate and persuasive communication.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.

Skills/Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of sales/cold-calling experience required.
  • Experience in lead generation, appointment setting, or inside sales, especially via cold calling, particularly within the roofing or home improvement service industry (preferred).
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and exceed performance goals.
  • Ability to engage potential clients professionally and effectively on the phone, and to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Proficient in using computers to manage lead information and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (frequent).
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (frequent).

  • This is a full-time non-exempt hourly (over time eligible) position with an expected base rate $18.00 - $22.00 hourly (Depending on Qualifications & Experience) plus commission, incentives (uncapped) and bonus.
  • Average commission and on target earnings of $10,000 a year based on sales targets.
  • Remote or Hybrid: This position is eligible to work a combination of in-office work at AES headquarters (St. Paul, MN) and remote/work from home eligibility. (*Note: this is subject to change by management based on company and business needs, may or may not be eligible until 90+ days of employment/training period completion, will be determined and agreed on by management and employee, and contingent upon employees being in good standing).
  • Schedule: This position will work between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and required flexibility to work between the hours of 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (CST) to ensure optimal customer visibility.
