Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to be part of our Cyber Security team. You will get the opportunity to build your experience by participating in project deliveries, service and in commissioning - always having an experienced colleague to learn from. The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Ostrava/Pilsen. You will be mainly accountable for: • Provide support regarding cyber security requirements, design and implementation of processes to ensure cyber security compliance within the operations and service units. Be an advisor for project and service delivery teams how to successfully become cyber security compliant. • Support the LD teams within ABB standardized cyber security solutions, requirements and services. Contribute to the development of products and services. Participate in the creation of business strategy. 1. Technical contribution • Technical lead for cyber engineering disciplines by evaluating, selecting and applying processes, procedures and criteria to assess, support and deliver projects in compliance with ABB cyber security standards. • Collaborates on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying potential issues or providing solutions with regards to security topics. • Provides support for security related activities required for commissioning and start-up activities. 2. Customer and sales • Providing guidance how to meet customer's security requirements through coordination of proposal documents and engineering estimates for security related activities. • Assists in performing engineering risk analysis before submitting proposal. • Interacts with customers, contractors, suppliers. May attend project meetings and presents security aspects of project proposal. 3. Planning and control • Utilizes standard processes, tools and techniques. Ensures that engineering activities comply with required cyber security regulations, standards and contractual requirements. 4. Technical leadership and knowledge sharing • Drives awareness in the team on cyber security risks, requirements and compliance, track and report compli#ance to ABB cyber security standards in development. • Collaborates with other Regional Cyber Security Leads across all Business Lines to exchange knowhow and ensure adherence to cyber security guidelines. 5. Incident handling • Supports the incident response activities are following the Incident Handling process. 6. Gate model and assessments • Performs cyber security assessment to ensure compliance of ABB's projects with ABB's cyber security standards. Assessment to be perform for projects of other Business Lines to avoid conflicts of interest.

Qualifications for the role
- B.Eng / B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics or similar from a reputed institution.
- Experiences (2-5 years) in front end engineering design (FEED), detailed design, implementation, test, and installation of cyber solutions and services.
- I• deally a minimum of 2 years of experience in defining, designing, and guiding implementation of cyber security best practices and standards.
- Technical understanding of the relevant products, technology stacks and challenges that especially bridge IT and OT networks. Should have understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.
- Industrial Automation domain exposure is an added advantage.
- Experience in working in international environments with different cultures and languages and managing stakeholders of varying management levels.
- Spoken and written English language skills.
