Job Description Summary

As Sub Commodity Leader you will be responsible for managing the procurement and sourcing activities for a specific subset of commodities within the organization. This role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
As Sub Commodity Leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to align sourcing activities with business objectives and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with suppliers for purchase order (PO) and contract execution.
  • Handle problems and schedule changes effectively.
  • Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in the job discipline.
  • Serve as a best practice/quality resource and stay updated on functional developments.
  • Contribute to strategy and policy development.
  • Ensure delivery within the area of responsibility.
  • Skilled influencer within sourcing and other functions.
  • Communicate complex messages effectively and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
  • Impact approaches, projects, and programs in the functional area.
  • Influence quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team.
  • Use judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks/problems.
  • Take new perspectives on existing solutions and use multiple internal and external sources to arrive at decisions.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in sourcing or buying role
  • A bility to manage a direct team and work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to solve problems.
  • Strong oral and written English and Italian communication
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
