Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary:
Test, analyze, repair, and calibrate aircraft instruments
Solder terminals
Perform Laser and/or solder sealing of instruments
Work in a clean-room environment
Use the following - hand tools, tweezers, jeweler's screwdrivers, microscopes, micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, Laser sealer, oscilloscope, hi-pot, digital multi-meter, wave analyzer, phase angle voltmeter, and angle position indicator
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
Work under microscopes for long periods of time
Use soldering irons to perform certified soldering
Qualifications/Requirements
Ability to read and work from Blueprints
Must have basic computer skills - Windows
Basic electronic and mechanical experience a plus
Excellent visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) and good manual dexterity
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must successfully complete a written test and must demonstrate proficiency on-the-job to obtain quality certification in soldering and in each of the test, analyze, repair, and calibrate functions of the job.
Must have completed HS Diploma/GED or higher
2 years of experience in the repair and calibration of electrical and /or aircraft instruments
