JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES
To increase sales and develop business within the dedicated sector of the French market of NOV France's range of products: Pumps + Munchers + Universal Parts + Mixers + Hose Pumps
New account development as well as broadening and strengthening existing account relationships.
Where appropriate, support existing distribution channels within designated area ensuring profitable revenue growth and to identify areas in need of additional / alternative channels to market and where necessary make recommendations and implement initiatives to ensure overall profitable growth within the area.
MAIN DUTIES
To increase sales of the full product's range into the French market, in line with the annual plan.
To ensure overall profitable growth through all routes to market.
To maintain good knowledge of and provide feedback regarding key competitors activities and strategies.
To work with relevant organisations throughout the market to gain acceptance of NOV products and where possible have them written into specifications thereby precluding competitors equipment. Relevant organisations include engineering companies, OEM businesses and consultants within the French market.
In conjunction with the Plant Manager, provide a clear, short, medium and long term plan for the French market detailing proposed activities over a relevant time line.
To work with existing distributors ensuring ongoing development of sales through the distributor network.
Where required, propose alternative or additional routes to market. This could be either geographical based or product group based.
In conjunction with the Plant Manager and on an annual basis, provide sales and cost (planned expenditure) plans for the French market.
To ensure that product and application knowledge is maintained at the required level to fulfil the role. When required, ensure competency to provide customer selections and quotations.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Achievement of plan targets for revenue and margins.
Customer satisfaction (service level measures)
New distributors identified and appointed within area.
Sales forecast accuracy
Quotation to order hit rate
