As a Senior Engineer Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will guide and manage engineering programs. Your ability to define project scope and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams will help align projects with business goals and customer requirements. By developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, you will ensure efficient project execution and delivery. Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets will help maintain project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise in identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact project delivery will contribute to successful project outcomes.
You will report directly to our Senior Director of Engineering, and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

You will lead a cross-functional team in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance communication, Navigation, and Surveillance products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and manage engineering programs to ensure successful execution and delivery
- Define project scope and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices
- Lead Avionics Engineering Programs across multiple Centers of Excellence
- Work with GBE, CBT, PMO, and other leadership
- Lead Project Engineering execution on large and complex programs
- Customer support, collaboration, and negotiation experience
- Aircraft systems technology experience
- New hardware, software, and systems development, integration, and test experience
- Aircraft systems integration and applications experience
- Manage cost and schedule. Early problem detection and course correction
- Involvement with program pursuits and launches
- Partner with GBE, CBT, external customers and engineering functional teams to enable business growth
- Lead cross-program activities/initiatives such as: Supporting the development of strategic roadmaps to deploy common features/mandates across multiple baselines; Leading planning activities for lab refreshes, Encouraging shared best practices across programs; Etc.
- Be a leader for project engineering transformation within CNS
- Mentor, coach, and otherwise train other project engineers in the organization
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE
- At least 10+ years of experience in project engineering/engineering program management for new product development in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or similar
- 5+ years of experience communicating and presenting to executives
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (IMS, EVM, etc)
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and global teams, including various time zones
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
