This position reports to
Senior Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
EDP supply base owner in China to best support plant operation. Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price, terms, and conditions according to company yearly supply chain improvement target, such as cost reduction, process improvement and so on. Run RFQs mainly for the categories of welded parts, machined parts, cables and for specific sourcing initiatives. Coordinate the RFQs for standard commercial parts and other categories such as casting, drive chain etc. with other global and local category owner in RO supply chain team. Contract Management: creates local contract amendments to frame agreements Supports regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement category strategies. Onboard new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and SQE and runs regular supplier evaluations Support new product industrialization in EDP and provide quick overview cost and supply parts with right quality

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor and above degree of Mechanical or Engineering related
- 5 years as purchasing engineer in manufacturing sector and good experience in the categories of welded parts, machined parts
- PC Skills: MS office, SAP
- Good master of both oral and written English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in complex product portfolios
