What will you be doing?
Subsea7 are looking for a Team Manager (Installation Analysis) to join our Pipeline Group (PG) team responsible for delivering fit for purpose rigid pipeline installation analysis to projects and/or tenders supported by the group with specific focus on safe and cost-effective installation operations. This role will be based in our Houston, USA office.
As a Team Manager (Installation Analysis) you will oversee a team of installation analysis engineers based in Houston but with extensive collaboration with other regions. You will be working on a variety of pipelay projects (reeling, S-lay & J-Lay) focused mainly in the GOM region, but potentially worldwide.
You will be responsible to the Engineering Manager (Analysis) for Pipeline Group for ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of the installation analysis engineering team and provide regular operational reports on general project engineering activities, technical subject matters, and resource management.
This role requires an exciting combination of technical knowledge with critical communication and organisation skills given the large number of stakeholders that are involved in a rigid pipelay scope.

SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Manage an Installation Analysis team, so as to ensure successful delivery of engineering activities on all projects supported by the Pipeline Group
- Ensure interfaces within PG Installation Engineering, Project Engineering Managers and PG Package leads work properly and intervene when necessary in a collaborative manner
- Ensure that standard of engineering services provided complies with relevant company engineering standards with a clear focus on commerciality of engineering solutions. Ensure engineers are well aware of BMS and PM7 processes
- Promote safety culture and initiatives to the analysis engineering team throughout the onshore and offshore delivery phases
- Responsible for the adequate capture and follow up of lessons learned and knowledge management
- Promote a collaborative environment across all the different offices and with the project and tender teams including the development and update of Subsea 7 processes and tools
- Ensures all engineers are adequately trained by supporting their career development and ensuring there is an adequate training structure
What experience would we like you to have?
- Proven ability to lead and function within a project team, providing regular and constructive feedback
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
- Good ability to coordinate teams often across offices
- Ability to prioritize and organize his/her work as well as others
- A demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to check others
- Proficient with Orcaflex
