- Leverage a high level of technical expertise relevant to the projects being managed to make informed decisions, facilitate discussions, and solve problems effectively.
- Lead cross-functional teams across global sites, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Work closely with the team to define and align on project timelines, scope, and budgets.
- Drive technical trade-offs and decisions within the project constraints, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
- Actively identify, manage, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide clear and regular communication on project status, risks, changes, and other relevant updates to project sponsors, ensuring the appropriate level of detail is shared.
- Identify talent gaps within the team and collaborate with Discipline Managers to recommend adjustments or personnel changes as needed.
- Facilitate and lead project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Remove roadblocks and obstacles to project progress, ensuring smooth execution.
- Offer feedback, guidance, and coaching to engineers on the project to foster growth and ensure project success.
- May lead hardware project teams using a hybrid approach (Waterfall + Agile methodology).
- May lead software project teams using Agile, preferably Scrum methodology (including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
Who You Are:

In This Role, You Weill Need:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or 5 years with a Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record in managing technical projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining budget controls.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-initiate and manage tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously, maintaining flexibility and composure under uncertainty.
- Effective team collaborator with experience working in a matrix organization.
- Passionate hardware/software developers seeking to transition or grow into project management roles are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- At least 2 years of hands-on product development experience (hardware, firmware, or driver software for hardware).
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project and Azure DevOps.
- In-depth understanding of the measurement and automated testing industries is a plus.
- PMP certification or similar project management qualifications are highly desirable.
