Job Description Summary

The Wales Site Facilities, Maintenance & Security Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, lead cross-functional teams, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Lead daily operations to ensure reliability, continuity and consistency of the site facilities across all functions and shifts, install, maintain, and repair internal and external facility equipment and machines and act as a subject matter expert in all aspects of facilities maintenance and security operations for the Wales site.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and secure workplace for the employees, contractors, visitors and suppliers.
  • Ownership of all aspects of equipment maintenance to ensure safe operation of the facility.
  • Responsible for sub-contractor management and ensuring timely resolution of facilities and equipment issues.
  • Ownership of site sustainability initiatives and action plans to business KPI's
  • Manage Security and Fire Prevention Operations in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Lead all aspects of Security in order to provide a safe and secure workplace for the employees, contractors, visitors and suppliers to the site.
  • Ownership and implementation of the global security framework requirements and associated KPI's
  • Manage Investment and OPEX budgets for onsite projects and services.
  • Deliver on-site projects that enhance employee experience and enhance site facilities.
  • Management of all facilities related delivery contracts including maintenance, security, cleaning and catering.
  • Ownership of FM global framework ownership and site risk register action plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulatory requirements relative to Security, Fire Protection, and local building regulations
  • Work closely with the global facilities team and regional leader to maintain a high focus on delivering global facilities priorities.


Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in leading teams
  • Working knowledge of site facilities, machines and equipment
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of facilities management or equivalent experience.
  • Lean manufacturing experience - preferably linked to total preventative maintenance (TPM)
  • Experience within a senior leadership team within a large site/organization
