Your role and responsibilities
Electrification Business empowers smarter business operations by connecting equipment, software, and services to protect, control, and optimize assets within electrical infrastructures. Across multiple energy-intensive industries, the business provides customers with end-to-end product and service solutions that help ensure the reliability and protection of their electrical infrastructure. The Project Construction Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining productive working relationships with assigned contractors & channel partners, at all levels of their organization. While this is a remote position, successful candidates should be located in the greater Tampa, FL area. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings Division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: • Planning and implementing sales strategies to maximize market share and margin with contractors & channel partners with a primary focus on commercial contractors, multi-family, and high-density project business. • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers. • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Distribution strongly preferred. Candidates without a degree but commensurate experience will also be considered.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in electrical industry required, including complex contact negotiations
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products
- Experience working with contractors & channel partners
- Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills
- Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
- Ability to travel 50% or as needed throughout assigned territory.
