Your role and responsibilities

We're scaling RUN Services, and we need a highly technical, hands-on Operations Manager to ensure our applications run at peak performance while maintaining operational stability, security, and compliance. We're looking for deep technical expertise, backed by real-life examples of how you've been proactive in troubleshooting, optimizing, and improving IT services. You should have strong infrastructure knowledge, be comfortable diving into complex technical issues, and own the execution of operational processes that drive our high-availability and mission-critical applications. Key responsibilities: - Own and manage the operational execution of key applications, ensuring 99.9% uptime and service stability. - Be the go-to technical expert, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure and application issues. - Optimize system performance, proactively identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions. - Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, security standards, and corporate policies. - Collaborate with vendors to define SLAs, monitor service quality, and manage technical escalations. - Automate and improve operational processes, making RUN Services more efficient and resilient. - Support application onboarding, ensuring seamless transitions into RUN Services. - Monitor and analyze KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve service quality.

Qualifications for the role

• To be successful in this role, you bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, managing enterprise applications and infrastructure in dynamic environments. You are deeply engaged in the IT operations landscape and highly skilled in working with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), Linux/Windows systems, networking, and databases.
• You enjoy working with automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and the enterprise IT market.
• You have a proven track record of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex IT incidents and performance issues. Additionally, you possess an enhanced knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service operations, particularly in Incident, Problem, and Change Management. You have established skills in driving operational excellence and advanced skills in scripting, automation, and monitoring to improve and streamline processes.
• You are qualified in cloud and infrastructure technologies, and holding certifications such as ITIL, Azure, or infrastructure-related credentials is an advantage. You have the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments, managing multiple priorities while ensuring service excellence.
• Furthermore, you are passionate about problem-solving and continuous improvement and captivated by delivering efficient, high-quality IT services. You are highly adept in industry-standard platforms and methodologies, with a demonstrated history of success in IT service operations. You are also at ease communicating in English and working collaboratively with global teams.
