JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Accountant to coordinate Brazil F&A (incl. taxes) transactions in accordance to BR GAAP and IRFS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate the Accounting and Taxes routines.
• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing accouting and tax processes, incl preparation of financial statements and reports (TB, P&L, BS).
• Supervise Tax assessments and payments (ICMS, ISS, IRPJ, PIS, COFINS) to ensuring compliance with ancillary obligation (ex.SPED).
• Develop and Implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax burden.
• Monitor internal and external audits, also providing assistance for inspections.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
• Coordinate and guide Accounting and Tax department team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - CRC (Brazillian Accouting Certificate) is a requirement.
• English advance/fluent.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is advantageous.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Totvs or Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
