As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our manufacturing processes.
You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the production process by assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your ability to follow assembly instructions, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality checks will ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and efficiency

YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or the diagnosis, repair, or overhaul of engines in an aerospace, automotive, military, or commercial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
WE VALUE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly or engine repair
- Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification
- Experience in engine assembly or repair in a related field
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
