HR Services Team Lead (maternity cover)

In this challenging position you will be responsible for managing the operations of a team in Hungary focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of HR transactions for several service lines (Employee Life Cycle, Integrated Talent, Global Mobility, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Travel & HRIS). In addition, you will drive an efficient work allocation, effective workforce management and appropriate people management activities and will also actively participate in daily operations.

Your role and responsibilities

• Supervise the team and ensure HR processes are delivered in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with standard process flows and according to agreed service levels • Act as subject matter expert in the team and works on a daily basis on complex issues or cases which are escalated for resolution • Take direct responsibility for monthly payroll closing and the contract management with the payroll providers • Monitor accuracy of transaction processing and quality of data • Oversee analysis of HR transactions and highlights discrepancies/anomalies for correction • Identify and initiate the implementation of best practices and process improvements to increase efficiency and drive productivity gains • Ensure continuous legal and data protection compliance of the HR processes and document templates used • Work with customers and stakeholders to improve understanding, cooperation and performance. Ensures a positive working relationship within the team and with external customers by measuring customer/ employee satisfaction and building on results • Deliver HR Service support to the HR community, managers and employees, showing a customer service mind-set and a proactive way of working to serve customers with a "can do" attitude • Conduct performance reviews and provide regular coaching and training to the team

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Human Resources)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the HR field preferably as a senior/expert/team lead
• Familiarity with designing, maintaining and executing HR operational processes
• Experience in HR administration tasks (ideally in a shared service environment)
• Strong experience working in HR with Hungarian legislation
• Strong project management skills and experience leading cross functional teams in a multinational environment
• Fluency in English and Hungarian
• Strong communication skills, and experience in maintaining ongoing effective communication to a diverse audience
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build partnerships on all levels of the organization
