Solution Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

To support our growth strategy, we are looking for a solution sales specialist to join our Electrification Marketing and Sales unit in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki or Tampere. In this position, you will get the opportunity to use your solid technical background to drive real results in selling our solutions to both commercial and industrial facilities. You will showcase your expertise in solving electrification and automation challenges within most demanding electrification projects in Finland. Each day, you will be working closely together with our other teams at electrification markets organizations. The work model for the role is: hybrid #Li-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Together with the Solution Sales Manager, creating long term relationship to end users at selected projects within growth segments • Actively influencing decisions of the investors, construction companies and engineering companies, when they select electrification solutions for implementation • Active follow up of selected projects to achieve commercial success • Organizing training for engineering offices on ABB software and products together with the product marketing team • Responsible for certain accounts and managing the overall offering of ABB products according to the needs of the account

Qualifications for the role

  • Ability to demonstrate your solid skills in Medium Voltage Systems, Low Voltage Systems and critical power applications is essential
  • Advanced understanding of electrical network calculations is essential
  • Experience in engineering, supervision or project management in a relevant field is essential
  • Understanding of how decision-makers operate in the field and make their decisions
  • Ability to drive commercial success through sales and marketing together with established negotiation and co-operation skills is essential
  • You have systematic approach to business development and achievement of long-term targets
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering
  • You are at ease communicating in Finnish and English, both written and spoken. Swedish skills are an advantage
  • Travelling mainly in Finland is essential part of successful work
  • Proven track record of successful project business development and management together with sales experience are beneficial
