Your role and responsibilities

As a core member of the Electrification Research & Development team, you will be accountable for the planning and execution of strategic projects supporting R&D's organizational strategy, people and competency development, strategic resource planning, and HR initiatives critical to the R&D global function. You will be accountable for HR initiatives for this function globally, ensuring that all activities are executed in accordance with contemporary HR practices and company procedures, project objectives, and cost and schedule goals. Through the planning and execution of the HR priorities in the Electrification R&D function, you will contribute to the function Leadership, Learning, & Personal development, Competency assessment and planning, Career opportunities & job market engagement, DEI initiatives, and Healthy & Inspiring workplace goals. As a core member of the local Swiss Research Center Team, you will provide on-location HR support in the Research Center to employees and managers. Together you ensure effective and sustainable workplace relations and performance in close collaboration with country HR network. By applying HR policies you ensure correct application of Labor Relations as defined by the Swiss country HR Team. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Research & Development function in Electrification and locally the Swiss Research Center in Baden-Dättwil (CH). Main stakeholders are R&D business leader, HR teams and support functions (Talent & Learning, Compensation, Talent Partner, Global mobility, HR Operations, Legal) You will be mainly accountable for: • Acting as a Human Resources Business Partner for the Global Electrification and Electrification Service R&D Teams and for the Swiss Corporate Research Center. Activities include providing overall HR strategic planning and support, Talent & Learning strategies & deployment, Compensation, Organizational management, People Analytics, Master Data, etc. • Ensuring effective HR direction, contributions, and value-add to the business in partnership with the Global R&D function and to the Swiss Research Center by acting as consultant, sparring partner, coach and employee advocate. Ensuring that local legal, labor law and HSE requirements comply with Company policies and local regulations. • Supporting the business and the execution of HR processes by developing and delivering HR strategies and processes to add value to the functional capabilities of Global R&D and the local Research teams through change management initiatives and continuous improvement. • Partnering with respective managers to develop and implement key HR initiatives and strategic projects for the Global function and local site. Ensuring talent and organizational capabilities mid/long-term needs are understood and actioned. Qualifications for the role

  • University / College degree in Human Resources, Law, Business or equivalent. Degrees in Engineering or equivalent are welcome.
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in a multinational environment preferred but a combination of experiences in other relevant fields such as direct supervision, operations management, employment and training, leadership development, recruiting, etc. will be considered.
  • Curious and passionate about latest HR trends and able to provide a contemporary perspective on how organizations work and thrive today, with digital awareness mindset.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills to work, interact, and coach effectively leadership and people at different levels of the organization.
  • Culture Shaper, able to model and reinforce the company culture, engaging key stakeholders to secure culture alignment, supporting implementation of change initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication time management and presentation skills, by balancing multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English is required, German is an advantage and any other language is an asset.
