RESPONSIBILITIES
What makes you remarkable?
- Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the main functions of the role will be to issue Pre - qualification Questionnaire (PQ) to potential new supplies
- Provides guidance, direction and support to the Buyer and Senior Buyer reporting personnel in
- Ensures all supply chain activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution plan/schedule and/or contracting strategy, within approved budgets and in line with project processes and procedures.
- Assisting with development of processes and procedures, and communication to relevant personnel.
- Update the project / procurement status report (PSR) in line with project / client required on site dates and current / estimate lead times, notifying any delays to Procurement Manager.
- Attend regular PSR meetings with client, engineering and/or project management personnel to ensure dates for pre-order deliverables within their portfolio are being maintained.
- Performing all pre and post purchasing activities in accordance with the set project purchasing procedure and the purchasing work instructions
- Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly
- Understands the supplier delivery obligations form the terms and conditions of purchase
- Ability to interpret supplier production plans to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate delivery improvements
- Preparing supplier performance evaluation and order close out
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in field of engineering or business
- Minimum of 10 years Supply Chain experience of working within Procurement preferably within the Oil & Gas Petrochemical plant
- Broad knowledge of Suppliers, commercial Evaluations, Negotiations and Terms and Conditions of Purchase/Contract.
- Record of skills training appropriate for job specific role.
- Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation
- Maintains a strong network both within and outside of supply chain department
- Positively maintain relationships with suppliers and other disciplines
- Planning and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic proactive attitude
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving skill
- Work as part of project execution team
- Identify efficiency, process and tool improvement opportunities and successful drive through change
- Fluent in English and Thai language skills (both spoken & written) to enable effective communications with Client, Sub - Contractors & Vendors
- Be able to work as part of team as well as individually when required
