Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, engineer, and execute industry leading projects from start to finish.
- Develop complete and concise system Description of Operation (DOO), test plans and user guides.
- Interface with industry leading customers.
- Integrate cutting edge bar code reading technology to track and sort cases.
- Deliver successful material handling solutions to the customer by developing and implementing detailed commissioning plans.
- Attends all project related turnover meetings, functional design reviews and team meetings.
- Meets scope, budget, and schedule for the assigned projects.
- Maintains and tracks issues list, reporting to Supervisor / Manager as required.
- Performs code reviews.
- Completes all in-house testing and emulation.
- Provides site/field reports daily, including progress, issues, and next steps, as requested.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- At least 5 years of automation programming experience.
- Experience with C and object-oriented languages like C++
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical prints and devices to define control device requirements.
- Fieldbus knowledge (Profibus, EthernetIP, ControlNet etc.)
- Experience in SST Configuration tool, Linux commands, and QNX operating system.
- Willingness to travel 40%, work nights and/or weekends
WE VALUE
- BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) or related
- Ability to focus on essential information and identify key details
- Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply latest information and concepts
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- Experience with BOSS application
- Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a non-technical audience.
