Job Description Summary

As a Health Service Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the Occupational Health and GE Aerospace Health Services programs for the site and providing support for CALA. You will also support Environmental, Health and Safety and Health internal programs.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The Health Service Program Coordinator will partner and collaborate with the GE Aerospace Global Health Services team to support data driven strategies that impact GE Aerospace's safety, quality, delivery, and cost by improving wellbeing and ensuring compliance.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Provide Medical expertise and support at the GE Aerospace Queretaro site as it relates to regulatory exams, injury management, benefits, health and wellbeing.
  • Develop a strategy for the efficient and effective delivery of occupational health and wellbeing services, ensuring plans are coordinated and best practices are used to proactively improve the health and wellbeing of collaborators.
  • Coordinate the Medical Service department, to maintain an adequate service, health related supplies, wellness programs and operational activities.
  • Drive Occupational Health Standard Work to ensure compliance and risk reduction.
  • Support and promote a strong and positive employee health and wellbeing
    culture in line with organizational and local strategies, policies and regulations.
  • Provide professional guidance on the development of Human Resources processes to address issues related to occupational health and wellbeing.
  • Ensure effective case management of sickness absence referrals, ensuring maintain accurate and up to date health and safety documentation. Collaborate on investigations of incidents, accidents, and work-related illnesses, and report findings and recommendations.
  • Assist the GE Aerospace Global Health Services team in assessing ongoing health risks in the CALA region worksites and work closely with the Human Resource Leadership.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration or Public Health.
  • Postgraduate diploma on Occupational Health or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare coordination role related with Occupational Health.
  • Knowledge in STPS NOMS - in Industrial Hygiene and Safety, IMSS, SSA NOMS, Occupational regulations and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS office.
  • Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in time management, organization, and basic project management.
  • Ability to statistically analyze data and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on all issues related to the position.
