Hub Division Manager,PAEN,Asia

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be planning and ensuring execution of Global Division sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way. You will also be responsible for leading, developing and coaching the Sales organization proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: Hybrid. #LI-Hybrid Onsite #LI- Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries based out in Malaysia or Singapore. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating, planning and implementing sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy along with meeting sales tar-gets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency. • Establishing sales targets and ensuring sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed. • Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geo-graphical area and determines plans for acquisition and allocates resources. • Coordinating the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluates data to ensure fulfillment of goals along with monitoring and providing reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence. • Supporting the development of relationships with key customers, building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers and ensuring efficient marketing communications. • Ensuring sales volume and product mix targets are met by setting appropriate price and margin for sales and participating in negotiations of key contracts. Manages ongoing costs. • Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams along with identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels. • Taking ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs. • Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, managing and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration along with coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies

Qualifications for the role

  • A degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university
  • Minimum 15 years of rich solutions business sales experience in complex applications across industry verticals and should possess managing a business size of USD100M + and multi port-folio experience
  • Exposure to major industries like refinery/ petrochemical, Oil & Gas and Power Generation etc.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in a Sales Leadership role with a sales team, enhancing market share
  • Have solid working experience in either European or American multinational companies, with prior experience covering either a SEA or a APAC cluster in a Sales Leadership role
  • Should possess strategic leadership skills with well-developed innovative mindset, proficient communication, proficient listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience in the Automation industry is essential, and familiarity with New energy transition sectors is valuable.
  • Be able to develop tailored for market sales strategy, ensuring sales success and enhancing business growth
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for the role.
