As a Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer - Fire here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and maintaining quality standards for our fire protection solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing market trends, managing and maintaining accreditations, and ensuring operational excellence. Your strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to quality will be essential in achieving business objectives.
You will report directly to the Business Support Leader, and you'll work out of one of our UK locations on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the effectiveness and reliability of our fire protection solutions, ensuring that they meet regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring that Honeywell services meet the quality standard for BAFE + LPS1014
• Maintain BAFE + LPS1014 accreditation for Honeywell UK
• Arrange and attend audits as necessary, acting as a point of contact for auditors.
• Manage audit actions.
• Creating, implementing, and managing internal fire audits to identify areas of improvement within the fire side of the business
• Implementing processes in line with best practice
• Produce written reports and presentations
• Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Provide fire technical expertise to the team
• Provide recommendations of training for the engineering teams
• Keeping up to date with BSOL and tracking any changes
• Arranging FIA training for those who require it
• Ensuring current Honeywell fire paperwork meets standards
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Customer focused
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent understanding of BS-5839 and quality standards in the fire protection industry
• Minimum of 5 years' experience of working in a similar role - or technical fire experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
