Vestas Development is an established strategic business unit within Vestas that is responsible for developing renewable energy projects from greenfield until ready to build. Vestas Development originate and support the development of new wind and hybrid high quality projects in Poland via its own in-house team as well as via development partnerships that are established and managed by the team.
The position is part of the Vestas Development EMEA & LATAM team and will report to the Development Country Head of Poland

Vestas Development is an established strategic business unit within Vestas that is responsible for developing renewable energy projects from greenfield until ready to build. Responsibilities
- Identification of land plots for potential wind farm projects and related technical infrastructure
- Conducting legal due diligence on selected land plots to ensure compliance and feasibility
- Negotiating land lease agreements, easements, and other essential contracts required for project implementation
- Coordinating the execution of notarial deeds and other necessary legal agreements to secure project sites
- Collaborating with internal teams on various aspects of project development to facilitate smooth implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, business, administration or real estate education (or in relevant field)
- At least three years of experience in land acquisition for wind energy projects and technical infrastructure
- Comprehensive understanding of contracts, civil law, and real estate management
- Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of AutoCAD or QGIS considered an asset
- Fluency in both Polish and English (spoken and written)
- Valid driver's license category B

- Valuable interpersonal skills that support the development of positive and efficient relationships with landowners and important stakeholders
- High level of professionalism, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Effective problem-solver who works well with others

- Highly developed organizational skills, adept at balancing both fieldwork and office-based tasks efficiently
