This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective business line sales strategy within the specified market scope (regional) and maintain it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for Force Measurement products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets through high performance. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics Division - Force Measurement business line in India. Main stakeholders are existing and potential customers, internal sales and service teams, and Product Management. You will be mainly accountable for: • Defining key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance • Identifying new opportunities, evaluating them, and allocating resources for execution • Monitoring sales market price levels and supporting pricing decisions with Product Management • Driving customer satisfaction through feedback surveys and targeted action

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering
  • 15+ years of experience in the metals industry, with deep knowledge of ferrous/non-ferrous, pulp & paper processing, rolling mills, or mill OEMs
  • Proven experience in business strategy, market intelligence, and customer experience success
  • Skilled in contract and risk management, sales enablement, and general sales practices
  • Demonstrated success in portfolio and account management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • CRM/HRM experience is an added advantage
