Talent Acquisition Team Lead (MEA)

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end talent recruitment activities in the Middle East, supporting the Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) division. Aligned with ABB's regional and global strategies, processes, tools, and frameworks, you will play a key role in building a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing needs. You will also contribute to recruitment-related projects and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition team members, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and hiring managers from all ABB business divisions across the region. Key responsibilities: - Lead full-cycle recruitment for the Energy Industries division from the kickoff meeting through to offer acceptance - ensuring an efficient, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers. - Work in close partnership with HRBPs, hiring managers, fellow Talent Partners, Employer Branding Partners, and HR Services teams to deliver a fast, coordinated, and business-aligned recruitment process. - Provide market insights, talent acquisition expertise, and consultative guidance to shape sourcing strategies tailored to business needs. - Support with data analytics and reporting, helping to manage the candidate pipeline and monitor recruitment metrics. - Drive and participate in continuous improvement projects to help achieve and exceed global, regional, and local Talent Acquisition targets, including time-to-fill, diversity, candidate and manager experience, and positions filled.

Qualifications for the role

• To be successful in this role, you bring a Bachelor's degree in Administration or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in end-to-end Talent Acquisition processes.
• You have a solid understanding of the MEA region, particularly in South Africa, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
• Your background includes hands-on experience with localization initiatives such as Emiratization and Saudization, and you have worked in the Energy or Process Automation sectors.
• You are proficient in using CRM platforms like Phenom and HR systems such as Workday. Fluency in English is essential, while Arabic is considered an asset.
