JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production and inspection equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and calibrations to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies to support maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and technical schematics and diagrams.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all company safety protocols during maintenance tasks.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, equipment issues, and repair solutions.

Job Duties

• Use diagnostic tools such as volt meters and perform basic electrical tests and repairs.
• Apply knowledge of ladder logic, control boards, and PLC systems for equipment troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with technicians, operators, and supervisors to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, ladder logic, and control board operation is preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Skilled in the safe and effective use of volt meters, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
