The Alantra Solar team focuses on infrastructure solar opportunities across Europe, with a specific emphasis on subsidy-free projects. Recognizing the crucial role of solar energy, particularly when paired with efficient storage solutions, in the transition of Western economies towards carbon neutrality, Alantra Solar offers investors the opportunity to participate in and benefit from this energy revolution.

Job Overview
An Italian Solar PV Project Delivery Manager is a professional specializing in the construction and operational phases of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. This role involves assessing risks throughout the Development and EPC activities associated with Alantra's solar PV and BESS plants in Italy.
As a Solar PV Project Delivery Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the Development and EPC phases of our Italian PV projects. Your responsibilities will include monitoring key aspects of permitting, engineering, procurement, and construction. You will contribute to achieving project objectives and provide insightful analyses to inform senior management's decision-making.
Your work will encompass overseeing and consolidating EPC agreements and all tehe permits related to construction and commissioning, conducting site visits, attending (in person or remotely) bi-weekly construction meetings, and ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout project development and construction. The ideal candidate will possess an MSc in Engineering, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint, and a keen interest in PV asset data metrics and analysis.
This role is well-suited for a driven, detail-oriented individual who is eager to collaborate and grow within a dynamic team environment.

Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide technical clarification and support to the EPC contractor's project management team and external advisor.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with grid operators (ENEL/TERNA).
- Serve as the primary liaison with local authorities (Comune/Province/Region) for permitting-related technical clarifications.
- Collaborate and coordinate with external consultants and local project developers on all technical aspects of the authorization process.
- Monitor technical development progress against the agreed milestone plan and prepare regular progress reports.
- Oversee and optimize the technical layouts (mechanical and electrical) for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants.
- Support the overall project development process by preparing technical documentation throughout the authorization process, ensuring readiness for construction.
- Oversee permitting and ensure compliance with PAUR, other secondary permit regulations, and EON and ION permits during construction, in alignment with EPC requirements and the contractual schedule.
- During construction, manage and oversee documentation, providing comments and approvals for deliverables and drawings submitted by the EPC contractor.
- Supervise, manage, and support the acquisition of any additional permits required during construction.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (a Master's in Renewables is advantageous), OR a minimum of 5 years of verifiable technical experience in the development or construction of solar power plants and/or interconnection facilities (electrical lines and substations).
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience within the energy market.
- Solid understanding of renewable energy, with a specific focus on Solar PV.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and regulations related to MV/HV grid connections in Italy.
- Autonomous working approach and reporting to EPC director.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy. The position is based in Alantra's offices in Milano (Italy)
- Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory, with a strong command of Spanish being a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and demonstrate a hands-on approach.
- Adaptability, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural team.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
