Location: Remote (Schenectady preferred) Contract Length: 12 months (could renew another 12 months) Rotation: 5/8s Start Date: April 29th Travel: no Overview: We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with strong experience in Civil 3D and StormCAD to support the design and development of land plots for future data center construction. In this role, you'll play a key part in preparing sites for construction by leading grading, stormwater, and utility infrastructure design across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: Perform site civil engineering design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and StormCAD. Design and model grading plans, including cut/fill analysis for large-scale data center sites. Develop stormwater management systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Create utility layouts for water, sewer, and storm networks. Collaborate with project managers, architects, environmental consultants, and permitting authorities. Prepare construction documents, site development plans, and engineering reports. Assist with permitting and regulatory submissions as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) required. 3+ years of experience in site development and civil design. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and StormCAD is essential. Experience designing for large commercial or industrial sites is preferred (data centers, warehouses, etc.). Familiarity with local zoning, environmental, and permitting regulations. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
