Your role and responsibilities

As a Solution Consultant for Product Configurators & CPQ, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing IT solutions for product configuration, pricing, and quoting. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure that CPQ systems meet business requirements while adhering to corporate IT standards and best practices. In this role, you will work on configuring and programming product configurators, developing pricing models, and ensuring seamless integration with other IT systems such as SAP and CRM. You will be responsible for both technical implementation and ongoing optimization, ensuring that our CPQ solutions deliver maximum efficiency and value. Join B&R Automation and help shape the future of product configuration and CPQ! • Act as an internal IS consultant for CPQ systems, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business needs. • Configure, customize, and develop product configurators, pricing models, and integrations with other IT systems (e.g., SAP, CRM). • Manage the application lifecycle, including architecture definition, maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates. • Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to enhance CPQ solutions, drive innovation, and support IT projects.

Qualifications for the role

• Completed technical studies in Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (HTL, FH, University) or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong expertise in at least one high-level object-oriented programming language.
• Knowledge of modern software architectures and frameworks.
• Experience with CPQ solutions, product configurators, or pricing tools especially with Camos CPQ is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, goal-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Hands-on mentality, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English & German.
