We are looking for a Learning & Development Lead to join our team in Aberdeen on a permanent staff basis.
Are you a creative and enthusiastic Learning and Development (L&D) specialist looking to make a real impact? We are on the lookout for a skilled individual to deliver innovative learning solutions that drive performance.
Based in Aberdeen, you'll be part of the Organisation Development (OD) team. Reporting to the OD Director, you will be responsible for delivering our commitment to learning, helping your colleagues to lead the way in offshore wind.
What will you be doing?
• People manager responsibility for L&D Co-Ordinator.
• Provide specialist learning & development knowledge across Seaway7's global onshore organisation.
• Work closely with the HR Business Partner team to understand business needs and support them to deliver learning solutions in their business areas.
• Assess training needs to identify skill gaps and development opportunities that enable delivery of company objectives.
• Design and develop dynamic learning solutions, often in partnership with external training providers.
• Partnering with Seaway7 subject matter experts to create relevant and up-to-date training content.
• Programme manager for Seaway7 graduates, people managers and commercial negotiation programmes.
• Implementation of policies and initiatives such as induction, performance management and annual compliance campaigns across Seaway7.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback and performance metrics.
• Leading the implementation of wellbeing and inclusion activities throughout Seaway7.
• Communicating our learning and development offer and highlighting learning achievements across internal communication channels.
• Working together with Subsea7 learning and development teams on wider Group initiatives.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance our learning and development offer.
What experience would we like you to have?
• Experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or similar role.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using digital learning platforms and learning management systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Learning & Development or a related field.
• Occasional planned travel is a requirement of the role.
