Senior Telecommunication Systems Engineer

Role Overview

• Telecommunication Systems Architecture / bloc diagrams.
• Redaction des "Telecommunication specifications".
• Suivi "Material take Off - Telecommunication": Cables, Power distribution...
• Follow-up and interfaces: with existing telecommunication systems.
• Preparation of Telecommunication Layout (CCTV, PAGA...).
• Technical comparisons.
• Correspondence with sellers.
• Comments, plans and seller documents.
• Tests usines (FAT assistance).
• Technical review of supplier offers.
• Participation in the validation activities of the installation aspect of telecommunication systems (quantity of cabinets...).
• Coaching and knowledge sharing to junior telecom engineers.

Skills & Qualifications

• Main communication systems: PAGA, HOT LINE, Telephone System, CCTV system, UHF TETRA Radio System, VHF Marine Radio System, Fiber optic Network, Lan System, Ship to Shore Link System, ACS, Wireless System, Intrusion Detection System.
• Mastery of the specificities of telecommunication systems in the Oil&Gas onshore LNG sector.
• Mastery of onshore telecommunication systems know-how.
• Knowledge of the installation/validation aspects of telecommunication systems.
• Mastery of applicable international standards and codes ISA, IEC, ATEX.
• Knowledge of MS Office software (word/excel/visio), AutoCAD.
• Reporting to the Lead.
