Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABB's offerings to targeted market segments and manage the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and division/product group/business line strategy and targets. Each day, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of an offer. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. The work model for the role is #LI- Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Bengaluru, India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Leads market intelligence analysis considering current market segmentation and related product positioning. Identifies potential gaps in the portfolio against competition and new market opportunity. • Leads the full Life Cycle of existing product portfolio under your responsibility, making decisions on offering obsolescence and end-of life to ensure current and future market requirements and to maximize profitability. • Acts as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, and Research & Development). Sets targets and monitors offering costs, giving inputs to Operations functions (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability. • Considering customer needs and value analysis, contributes to development of new portfolios setting technical, price, cost and capital expenditure targets, with responsibility of achievements • Initiates and drives product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree or above, major in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering or relevant discipline.
- Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken
- Market knowledge of low voltage energy distribution- products, applications and solutions, such as DIN Rail components.
- 10+ years' experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes
